Prom is right around the corner here in West Michigan, and whether you're rocking a bold color or going classic with your look, a good spray tan can seriously level up your whole vibe.

If you’re thinking about getting a spray tan for prom, here’s the tea to make sure it looks flawless & lasts through all the dancing:

✨ First things first: Timing is everything

Book your spray tan 2 days before prom. That gives the color time to develop into its full potential and gives you time to rinse + take a “real” shower.

🧼 Prep like a pro

Prepping your skin is the most important step. Here's your glow-up checklist:

Exfoliate the night before. Get rid of dead skin so the tan goes on smoothly and evenly. (Use a scrub or exfoliating mitt, skip anything oil based.)

Shave anything you’d normally shave the night before. Any body waxing needs to be done at least 48 hours before your appointment.

No lotion, makeup, deodorant, or perfume on the day of your tan. Clean, dry skin is best so the solution can develop evenly.

👚 What to wear to your appointment

Go full cozy-girl mode:

-Loose, dark clothes

-Slides or flip-flops

-No bras, tight socks, or anything that’ll rub

💃 Aftercare = flawless results

Once you’ve got your tan:

Wait the full time before showering (your artist will tell you when).

Avoid sweating, water, or tight clothes during that time.

Moisturize daily afterward to make your tan last longer and fade evenly.
